Tuesday, June 30th, 6pm Community Mitigation Project Meeting
Project partners involved in the Resident Mitigation & Resilience Project in eastern Rio Blanco County will host a community meeting at the Buford School House. Residents in the Ute, Papoose, Marvine, Buford and Crooks Park areas are encouraged to attend and learn about local wildfire mitigation efforts and forest health initiatives. Topics will include funded defensible space programs, chipping days, site assessments, and community engagement opportunities supported through the Community Wildfire Defense Grant.
