WATER - Diversion Infrastructure Repair & Modernization Cost-Share Program

Helping Rio Blanco County landowners repair, replace, and improve agricultural water infrastructure.
The White River and Douglas Creek Conservation Districts offer a streamlined funding program to help Rio Blanco County landowners repair or replace damaged or destroyed agricultural diversion infrastructure and make improvements to existing systems.
Following the Lee and Elk Fires, severe post-fire debris flows damaged agricultural water diversion infrastructure throughout the burn scars and downstream areas, impacting critical agricultural watersheds. This program helps landowners recover from these impacts while providing opportunities to upgrade infrastructure where appropriate.
Who can apply? The program is open to all Rio Blanco County landowners, including those within the Lee and Elk Fire burn scars and surrounding areas.
How it works: A simple, one-page application makes it easier for eligible landowners to apply for funding to repair, replace, or improve agricultural diversion infrastructure.
